At Hampshire Classics we have 42 years’ experience of taking care of beautiful cars and, as a specialist storage facility, we look after a number of incredible vehicles.  Occasionally, we are asked to sell some of these cars and this is how we are able to offer this immaculate Mercedes 280 SL Pagoda for sale on behalf of the owner.

Specification:
This is a stunning re-manufactured Mercedes-Benz 280 SL Pagoda which is finished in the original Horizon Blue paint colour and a Navy Blue leather interior.

It dates from 1969 and was delivered to New York, USA before being imported to the UK in 2013 by David Franklin.

On 4th March 2017, the Pagoda was purchased at the Historic Classic Sports Car Auction by racing driver Paul Rees who had it completely stripped, renovated and rebuilt with a highly polished engine by Hemmels of Cardiff.  The massive project took place between 2017 – 2019 and over 4,000 hours were spent on the car by a team of expert restoration specialists using their Neugeboren Process.

The Pagoda was then displayed at Mercedes Benz World, Brooklands from 2019 – 2021 and then purchased by the current owner in September 2021 who sent it to the SL Shop to carry out light recommissioning.

The car comes with spare keys, a large document folder, hard top roof, car cover and battery conditioner.
