At Hampshire Classics we have 42 years’ experience of taking care of beautiful cars and, as a specialist storage facility, we look after a number of incredible vehicles. Occasionally, we are asked to sell some of these cars and this is how we are able to offer this stunning 1972 Ferrari Dino 246 GT for sale on behalf of the owner.
This particular vehicle is a matching numbers example, and 1 of only 488 originally UK supplied 246GT Dino’s, delivered to the first custodian in early 1972 via a factory collection in Maranello. Finished in the traditional Rosso Corsa over Nero Leather Interior, along with 14″ Cromodora alloy wheels and optional electric windows.
This car was originally delivered new in the vibrant Giallo Senape, but was restored in the early 1990’s and subsequently repainted to Rosso Corsa. The restoration was carried out by E. G. Autokraft, renowned for their Daytona Spider conversions here in the UK.
This vehicle was supplied by us to its current owner back in October of 2012, and resides in one of our temperature controlled storage facilities. All original toolkits and accessories are present, as well as a well documented history file.
