Goodwood Motor Circuit, Chichester, West Sussex PO18 0PH

Three times a year businessman, Peter Saywell, hires Goodwood circuit for a track day.

Entry for spectators is absolutely free and for a donation to charity you can take a passenger ride around the circuit in one of the many participating cars. Should you wish to take part as a driver then this is by personal arrangement with Mr Saywell. It’s a laid back day and isn’t openly advertised, so doesn’t tend to get too busy.  The Goodwood Aeroclub is on hand for breakfast or lunch and there are usually some interesting aircraft flying in and out, including the Boultbee 2 seater Spitfire.

All proceeds from the track rides go to local charities chosen by the organisers, usually a local hospice or school, who will have a presence there on the day.  There is also the opportunity to join in the lunchtime track parade in any unusual vehicle.
